How do I check if I am registered to vote?

What do I need to bring to vote?

Your original National ID or Kenyan passport. Know your polling station—verify it on the IEBC portal before election day.

Can I vote at any polling station?

No. You must vote at the polling station where you are registered. Check your assignment on the IEBC verification portal.

How do I update my voter registration?

Visit any IEBC registration centre during the registration period with your ID. You can transfer to a new area or correct details.

When do polls open and close?

Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM. If you are in the queue by 5:00 PM, you will be allowed to vote.

What if my name is not in the register?

If you registered and your name is missing, report to the presiding officer. You may be referred to IEBC. Ensure you verified your registration before election day.
