How to Register as a Voter
Eligibility
- Kenyan citizen aged 18 years and above
- Not previously registered as a voter
- Not convicted of an election offence in the past five years
- Not declared of unsound mind
- Not an undischarged bankrupt
Required Documents
Bring one of the following (original):
- Valid Kenyan National ID card
- Valid Kenyan passport
Steps to Register
- Visit your nearest IEBC registration centre or Huduma Centre
- Present your original ID or passport
- Your details will be captured (ID scan, fingerprints, photo)
- Confirm your details on the tablet screen
- Receive confirmation. The process takes about 10 minutes
