Your Rights as a Voter

  • Right to lodge a complaint if you believe the process was not free and fair

Your Responsibilities

  • Register to vote and verify your details before election day
  • Vote on election day at your assigned polling station
  • Respect the rights of other voters and election officials
  • Report any malpractice or irregularities to IEBC or authorities
  • Make informed choices by researching candidates and their manifestos

Zero Tolerance for Electoral Offences

Bribery, voter intimidation, and double voting are criminal offences. Report any suspected electoral malpractice to IEBC or the police. Your vote is your voice—exercise it freely and fairly.
